Measures for Units 3 and 4 in accordance with the New Regulatory Requirements

In addition to existing voluntary countermeasures for tsunami, severe accident, etc., Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station has introduced measures in response to the New Regulatory Requirements so as to attain full compliance.

All the main engineering work to be completed for Unit 4, including measures against earthquakes, tsunamis and severe accidents, have been completed (with some still on-going).
We will take action as early as possible if revised or additional engineering work becomes necessary in light of compliance review with the New Regulatory Requirements or availability of new insight.
